The electronic AC power supply unit supersedes previous magnetic ballasts and features outstanding properties.
In particular, the significant extension of the lamp service life that can be achieved with this, the vastly improved light quality and the possibility of world-wide deployment without any changing over whatsoever of the considerably more compact and lighter device opens up further possibilities in addition to the traditional fields of application, e.g. in conjunction with camera applications.
