The ignition unit type iu-0525 is used for igniting short-arc lamps with a maximum lamp current of 5.5 A, igniting voltage of 25 kV and open-circuit voltage of 55 V in combination with a suitable ballast.
The ignition unit must only be used together with a master device, which ensures that the operating conditions, the applicable safety requirements and the EMC requirements are complied with.
